Monstarr is frustrated, yes, frustrated indeed! Work is sucking like a hooker on overtime and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to 'find the fun' when it comes to my current work place. I'm partially to blame of course; the dept is easy for me to get to and the lack of an end date for working there is a big plus in terms of me carrying on as a locum until my horrid credit card is paid off.

No matter what, I will work agency until my finances are cleared. I refuse to enter NHS employment in the red. I know how bad I can be with money so having some cash behind me will give me the freedom to budget as tightly as I'll need to when I start going back to a paltry monthly NHS salary. I'm not looking forward to the reduced pay (of course) but I will enjoy not being agency anymore.

My extended period as a locum has re-enforced my previous held opinions that agenciy staff should be treated well, and most of the time (in certain departments) aren't.

Thankfully I've had many pleasant distractions this week to help my deal with the stress of work. Phil and I met up for a drink on Monday night and had a great chat. On Tuesday I caught up with K&D, Ricado da force and Phil for dinner by the southbank. It was a fun evening memorable for many things including a well timed sexual pun from Dams and K venting her spleen on her current work situation. I've rarely seen her so agitated.

I got a little grilled on the subject of Stephen and after a while into the evening Rick quietly let it slip that he and Zahra were now offically a couple. Go Rick! I've only met Zahra once but instantly liked her and thought she was quite a babe.

I took some much needed time out last night and chilled at home and I offered tea and sympathy to Sandeep who was suffering still from his recently removed tooth. We sorted out some dull but essential financial stuff for the flat and decided to postpone our flat warming party so friends of ours could make it and give us more time to decide upon a theme and organise stuff. I'm leaning towards a 'white trash' theme. Too vague? Or too Britney? lol

Am off to see Tartrazine tonight for the first time in over a year, I'm really looking forward to it.
