It's raining in Sydney, d'oh! Where's the fucking sun?! This is meant to be Australia and Leeann is wearing a jacket. Not happy.

Leeann and I are both a little fatigued after a rather late one on Sunday night. We had fun and made lots of new friends.

We have spent today shopping and avoiding the rain. As usual I could've spent a huge amount of money, Sydney just has too many cool shops.

As you can imagine I have heaps to update on my diary but realistically I probably won't deal with it till Melbourne in three weeks time. What with Leeann here now and Eric & Co arriving soon I can't be spending hours online. It normally takes me ages to update stuff, I do go on a bit!

I've been listening to some new music recently, the excellent new Courtney Love album and "So Stylistic" by a NY hip hop group called Fannypack. They are a very 'fun' rap group. I'm also listening to a lot of B-52's in readiness for their upcoming gig. I'm very excited about it and I keep seeing an advert for it on TV, bring it on, woo-hoo!

It's really cool to be travelling and hanging out with Leeann. It's a laugh a minute with her around, I don't know if my ribs have ever had this much exercise! We laugh at a lot of little things, we have plenty on 'injokes' between the pair of us and we seem to obsessed with Kat Slater and Alf Moon from Eastenders. I won't explain, it just won't be funny if I do.

We are staying in the less than salubrious area of kings Cross but the hotel is fine and we are close into the city. We even have our own (tiny) ensuite! Oh, the luxury of not having to leave your room to visit the toilet!

I'm looking forward to Mardi Gras, it should be a lot of fun. I'm also looking forward to Eric, Atif and Greg coming over. I'll be meeting them at the airport and I may make a silly sign to welcome them. I did try that for Tim one time and it went a bit wrong but then I did try and write it in German!

It'll be good to see Eric again but also a little wierd I think. What is certain is that it'll be party time!!
