Another moment of gig pain to report. The kitchen (manda rins' band) are playing at club motherfuckers first birthday on March 19 in London. Val e-mailed me to say how much I would love this club (i.e it's a queer indie/punk place)and now the kitchen are playing there, d'oh!

Friends, you know what you have to do: attend said club and give me a full report! The kitchen are also nearly done recording their debut album so there should be new material on show. If you could see me right now you would see that I am green with envy.

I'll cope. I've already missed countless fantastic gigs since being away and I'm sure I'll miss more before I get home. I have had some luck myself of course though. Peaches was incredible at the big day out and I'm going to see the B-52's live in Sydney and I'm massively exicted about that.

Now I know I'll get some crap for writing this but the weather is getting too much! I almost resented having to put on my factor 30 this morning. It has been over thirty degrees for the last week. Now, I know that is much preferable to London mid-winter but it does make doing things in the middle of the day a real struggle.

Leeann and I have spent the last three days on Moreton Island. It was the cliched tropical paradise. We loved it and did lots of activities. I'll write more about the island later. I need to catch up on e-mails right now, later.
