I know, you don't need to tell me. I have been very remiss in not writing more about my month in Sydney over christmas and all that I got up to.

One of the highlights of my month had to be James coming over from the UK to spend two weeks (and Christmas) with me. It was great spending some quality time with him, he makes me laugh so much and was an excellent drinking buddy. Although it has to be said that James coud easily drink me under the table. On nights when I had destroyed myself and my hangover was evil incarnate, James would feel mostly alright, the bastard!

We spent a day up in the blue mountains and visiting James' rather hunky cousin and his girlfriend. The blue mountains were spectacular but were not as spectacular as some of my driving that day! I had not driven a manual car in a very long time, I did warn James about this but he just laughed at me and showed me a great deal of patience which I greatly appreciated.

We wandered round Sydney and the beaches, went to the zoo, checked out the hot boys at manly, tried to outsmut each other, sang Kelis lyrics and discussed Harry Potter. It was rather a lot of fun.

I think James and I got on well with all of Matts many friends in Sydney. They are a great bunch, very friendly and great to go out partying with. I hung out quite a bit with Matts friends Jon and Chris as they weren't working like everyone else.

We spent a memorable day looking at a drugs exhibition and checking out the power house musuem. Chris is a teacher from the UK who is going out with Matts mate Scott and who has a wickedly smutty sense of humour. As you can imagine we got on very well. He would get into the habit of sending me filthy text messages, the best one went like this "suck my glistening cock you bum bitch". Worthy of a shinky shonky badge don't you think?

There wasn't a single person in the group who I had a problem with. I think in my yahoo photo album there are pics of most of them. Chris and Scott are a couple. Scott is from New York and is a bit brash but in an endearing way, he doesn't take any crap basically. Tim is the only aussie in the group, has a sharp sense of humour and a winning smile. Brent and Charles are a couple from Canada, both of whom are really great guys. Brent reminds me of Peter. Cory is a shaven headed dude from New Zealand who is cool and really likes London. James is corys ex flatmate from London and really reminds me of my friend Simon except I haven't seen James naked! Graham has a rather nice voice and a great abdomen, he is another pome. There are other mated of Matts who I met and liked but I could be here forever!

I had a great time in Sydney over that month. I spent way too much money which I'm paying for now but I did have fun. I am massively indebted to Matt for letting me stay at his place. We get on really well and I had fun living with him for a month. Of course, it saved me a lot of money too. Thank you Matt!
