This is not the way I wanted my next entry to begin but, alas, I was stuck by a stomach bug yesterday and felt just awful all day. I couldn't eat anything and drinking water was a challenge. I was cursing all yesterday too because today is the big day out in Melbourne. In fact I should be there now but I just couldn't stay any longer.

I got there at 12pm and managed to hold out until five. Needless to say I as disappointed as I didn't get to see Jet, Magic Dirt, the strokes and Basement jaxx.

I did, however, see the darkness, lost prophets and most importantly Peaches! She was just incredible. It was an amazing performance with numerous costume changes, dancers, crowd singalongs, iggy pop on screen for 'kick it' and, of course, the inevitable blood vomiting at the end. As bad as I felt Peaches made me forget for an hour, bless her!

Most of last week I've been to the tennis which has been great. I did manage to burn my scalp (I bought a cap the next day) and my neck despite the copious amounts of factor 30 I had been using. I do have brown knees aswell from the way I was sitting, they look a little odd.

There is still lots for me to update on this diary but it'll have to wait for another day when I feel better. I'm feeling a lot better than yesterday anyway so that makes me happy.
