I've spent the best part of the last two days with my colleagues peering down the back of my tunic so they can see my new tattoo.

Everyone's reactions have been very nice which is cool. I got an incredibly sweet e-mail from my brother in which he told me how proud he was that it was his design that I got tattooed. Bless him.

Work is fun and tiresome at the sametime. It's my last week so the itchy feet are really kicking in now but at the sametime I will miss the people here and, in some strange way, the routine of working. I won't miss the 7am starts though!

I got a lovely christmas card from my cousin Lee ann. She is my favourite cousin out of about 100 million of them on my Dads side of the family. She is hopefully coming to Sydney in Feb. That would just be so cool. When she came to see me in London a couple of weeks before I left we had the best time and spent the entire time laughing.

I'm being a good boy and putting on my tattoo cream three times a day. The sooner it heals the sooner I can sunbathe again.

My obsession with the distillers seems to be deepening. That album is just too damn good!
