It is not without a small amount of pain that I type this diary entry. Of course it could just be bad posture but today the cause is definitely the tattoo I had done this morning.

Yes, that's right! I have finally taken the plunge and marked my body for life! I couldn't be more happy with it and the actual tattooing, though far from pleasant, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. To be honest it was an annoying scratchy feeling. The colouring in was the worst but I managed to stop myself from swearing out loud though there were several mental "fuck shit bollocks, aaaaarghs" going on.

My tatoo artist was cool but not very chatty. I didn't mind that at all really. I spent the time pondering several potter theories currently bounding around in my obsessed little head.

I'll post a photo of my tattoo as soon as I can so you can all see it.

Speaking of obsessions, I now have a new one. I'm now a complete devotee of the distillers. I finally broke my self enforced three month drougth of cd buying by getting the distillers new album "coral fang".

It is a sublime punk rock album. Everytime I hear 'drain the blood" I just wanna go crazy. Brody, the singer, wrote all the songs herself and she is now added to my long list of punk rock heroes. She does have a touch of a certain former Mrs Cobain about her voice but hers is far more raw and less california esque than courtneys.

In short, check them out coz they are rocking my world hard!
